Our insurance company can be flexible on the above criteria, so please fill in the booking enquiry and we can check with them before accepting/declining your booking.
All drivers are liable for any legal penalties, including speeding fines and parking tickets incurred within the hire period.

Yes. we require a £500 refundable deposit, or greater amount specified by our insurance company based on age/driving convictions and agreed prior to hire.
This security deposit must be paid prior to the hire commencing and will be refunded on it’s return at the agreed time on the agreed date, in the same condition in which it was hired – with the interior and all cooking appliances/equipment clean and a full tank of diesel. Any breakages, damage to the camper, or missing items will be deducted from the security deposit. This includes any damage to any extras that are hired, i.e. awning, bike rack etc. (A full inventory and vehicle report will be conducted at the beginning of the hire period and checked at the end).
Campers will not be released without security deposit, proof of address, and driving licence (and passport, if applicable).

OXCampers operates a strict No Smoking or Vaping policy in our campers.
Any additional cleaning costs incurred due to smoking or vaping in the camper will be deducted from the security deposit.
Damage caused by smoking or vaping is not covered by the insurance, therefore the hirer will be liable for the full cost of repairs up to the value of the camper.
You can determine the availability of any of our vans by filling out the booking enquiry form. We’ll then confirm availability and e-mail you a booking form that you’ll need to print, fill out, sign, and send back to us with a non-refundable deposit to the value of 25% of the hire booking. Once this has been received along with payment, then the camper will be reserved.
We require a 25% deposit to be paid upfront, and full payment is required 4 weeks before the date of hire. Payments can be made by bank transfer or card. If you’re making a late booking (less than 4 weeks before hire), you’ll need to pay in full at the time of booking. No payment is taken during the online booking process despite entering your details.
Discount vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue and only one discount code may be applied per booking. Please send in your voucher to OXCampers with your booking form. Note: your voucher has no cash value. Where the value of the hire is less than the voucher, a new voucher will be issued for the remaining amount.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking the campervan. If you cancel less than 4 weeks from the hire date, the full booking payment will be kept by OXCampers. If, however, we manage to find another booking for this hire period, your booking payment will be returned minus the deposit.
Our campers are maintained to a high standard by Mark, who has 16 years experience in the motor trade, with the last 6 years spent with Volkswagen. But if your camper does break down, we have comprehensive breakdown insurance that gives you access to roadside assistance, recovery and (where no repair is possible within a reasonable time), return to our premises. In this event, we’ll provide you with a replacement van (subject to availability) or refund your hire charge for any days remaining.
If the breakdown has been caused by driver neglect or misuse, then we’re unable to provide a replacement camper or refund, and the hirer will be responsible for all costs incurred.
We recommend taking out suitable holiday insurance to protect you against any cancellation costs and to cover personal belongings in the event of fire or theft, as our insurance doesn’t include your personal possessions.
Our campers are available for collection from 3pm on the day of hire, 8am if an early collection has been booked. Please allow 45 minutes for the handover, which includes completing all necessary paperwork and a tour of the camper. Please return your camper by 12 noon, or 8pm if a late return has been booked, on the agreed date. OXCampers must be notified of any late return, unless arranged in advance. Failure to do so will incur a cost of £20 per hour. Any further costs incurred due to disruption of the next hirer’s holiday due to a late return will be passed onto the hirer.
Saturday collections are by prior arrangement only.
We do not offer Sunday collection.
The camper can be returned out of hours by prior arrangement.

This can be put up very quickly, gives added privacy and helps to save your space on campsites where you are not given a specific pitch.

Up to 1 large dog or 2 small dogs are allowed and can sleep very comfortably, we know this from personal experience. This cost includes a non spill water bowl. Max £35 per pet

Please Note: European Travel and Travel to Ski Resorts is only allowed at OXCAMPERS discretion.
An insurance and breakdown cover supplement is applicable to all European Travel. Please provide full details of your planned trip when filling in your booking form so that we can provide the appropriate cover.
